Little Diana, A Luxury Bag Design collection inspired by the Bold, Fearless and Iconic 'Princess Diana. Little Diana is an off-kilter approach to Luxury Bag Design that juxtaposes Boldness with more poetic elements. I'm based in Delhi – a city booming with progressive young talent – melding technology with innovative textiles and a tongue-in-cheek attitude. The city’s infectious dynamism is instilled in the designs and sharp structures. The inspiration Princess Diana is a wearer with abundant curiosity and a witty sense of humour, willing to break boundaries and explore unknown aspects of the world which i've tried to reflect in my designs as well. The Collection is made from Classic Silhouettes paired with Various textures from Corduroy, Velvet and Leather. The Colour Blocking and Textures come together and make the collection timeless and classic while still being in trend.
A collection inspired and named after 'Lady Diana Spencer', She was a philanthropist in her own right, a humanitarian, a loving and dedicated mother and a force to be reckoned with. From refusing to say that she would 'obey' Prince Charles in her wedding vows to speaking her mind through her fashion choices, The Princess Of Wales was a feminist icon. Fondly remembered as the people's princess. A woman who was way ahead of her time, Diana was a feminist who still inspires men and women across the world.
Straddling two worlds, On the one hand, she worked for so many charities, upholding the rights of downtrodden women and creating awareness about people suffering, On the other hand, Diana shopped expensively and went on holidays that were nothing short of extravagant. No, she was definitely not the bra-burning, give-it-all-up kind of feminist. Diana's achievement was in the fact that she did not ever deny that she lived in two worlds at the same time--not because she had to, but because she wanted to.
